Yea it came out on Friday na... cuz of SRK I was wondering whether you went to watch it over the wknd or may be Friday hmmmm swades eh... I am not too keen on that one either.... may be when DVD's out. I wanna hear about VZ from regular folks and not the reviewers. They all are talking about so many diff things for this one so I dont trust them this time.

the results r already out veer-zaara is the year's blockbuster it has crosses 35 crores in india.

VZ is a beautiful and well made film, the acting is not great, just typical SRK, rani and preity, but some scenes, especially the "lodhi" scene are very very well executed

Still me says no no to VZ

Watched Hulchul on Sat with family in theater. MAN! what a fantastic movie. It was great!!! Mere ko phir se yeh wali filam dekhni hai. I am definitely owning this one. Loved it!
For VZ, me gonna wait til its on DVD.

LOL.. I did see first show they screening here ... on friday night.... as soon as I heard ke there is screening for this movie , seedha bhaaga dekhne ko.... Hey Chitz which was the scene you could not stop laughing .... I was going nuts laughing and rolling on seat on the scene when they drugged that Dulhe ka father that Sarfarosh wala guy .... and Paresh Raval holding him by putting his hands out.... and than Clapping , asking for lighter , flying kiss to that aunt of heroine , etc... was so funny.... even now thinking of it , I am laughing along....

Well it was not at that level of Hera-Pheri but it was indeed a hell lot of funny..... I would say TOTAL PAISA VASOOL

I did see all other movies inclusing VZ , Aitraaz , etc etc... but I would say if you have to pick only one movie (unlike me who would see every damn movie;) even if have to use FF) , go in this order :-
1) Hulchal
2) Aitraaz ( known story but excellent overall flick with good dialog delivery and songs)
3) Veer Zaara ( I guess its the time to tell this Directors we are too much bored now with this high shots theme and repitition of themes in this kinda movies.... Yash Chopra , Karan Johar , etc should now get out of those high end family melodrama and too much sentimental movies... well finally its a personal preference/choice, as I did like this movie but it was like nothing new ..... SRK looks real buddha in this movie even in the younger age romantic scenes, it was Amitabh & Hema , Rani , Bajpai who really outstanded other casts......

Not to argue with anyone's opinion , but just to back my recommendation , lol

Jay, I only watched Hulchul, not any others but I would pay $10 again and watch the same movie yet another time. Totally paisa-vasool movie!! I thought it was wonderful to watch a new refreshing comedy once again. I loved the last mangal sutra scene and then the way dulhe raja makes it up to the dulhan at the end, on the jhoola. Twas so cute. I liked AK a lot in this one. Such cutie. Funniest was when Shakti Kapoor was taking dulha to restroom. OH MAN! I cant believe the dialogs... company nahin denge? And when the dulha grunts inside, Shakti Kapoor's dialog. ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLlllll aur woh wala.. iss par to main abhi tak hans rahi hoon Sunil Shetty's dialog: "maa ji, aap aisa karo, haathi ko shaadi ke mandap mein daal-raita parosne ke liye laao, yeh aap kya circus kar rahi hai yahan???" too funny!!!

I watch too many movies? noooo let me tell you, I only watch about 7-8 new released movies per year, on average. I mainly watch the 60s, 70s flicks more than the new stuff.

I like old movies, i don't care for new ones! My last hindi movie was Murder! Yeh, i wanted to see Malika in uncut version We mainly watch english movies....suspense thriller/horror/comedy....

See I havent even seen that. Those girls, I see them on poster and it makes me sick. I watch English but a selected few only. And if I like some I just go buy the DVD. I love action movies and comedy (not Howard Stern kind). Just last wk I watched first two parts of Die Hard again.

Nope, none of that. I watch English movies only if other friends give good feedback about it. Would rather watch old desi flick.
