As in the case of Husnalal-Bhagatram's 'Krishna Sudama', 'Lutera' is a film which represents the latter phase of 'Anna' Ramchandra's musical career. Yet, the old Lata spark still remained in Anna's 'Lutera' creations, as manifested by "Mujhe bhi maut ka paighaam aa jaaye to achha ho" (eerily similar to Anna's memorable Lata-Talat 'Yasmin' composition of the same year, "Tum apni yaad bhi dil se bhula jaate to achha tha") and the classic Lata-Rafi duet, "Veeraan mera dil hai", which shows the two singers in crackling form:
