want help from you. all of you know that Shankar jaikishan's first movie barsaat came in 1949. there are few doubts abt exact date of barsaat. we will soon be entering 60th year of Shankar jaiksihan's music !and we do have some plans to celebrate this occasion ! but we need to confirm the dates first !


if any of you have old magzines or LPs etc.
can any one tell me the exact release dates of Barsaat (1949)?? and also the cinema halls where it was first released !

any dates mentioned in Geet kosh or from LPs or film prints ???

Muhurat shot on Dassera of 1948...it took nine months to complete
the movie......premiered on 30.09.1949.
