Noorie,

With these wonderful lyrics in my front, I have just sung this entire song aloud to my heart's content, unmindful of its impact on the immediate environment!

It is one of the very best solos by the Maestro, in my view.

Normally, when I sing, I keep humming the interlude musical bits too! For example, after the first rendition of "Tumhara Haath Raat Pe Henna Ka Rang Mal Gayaaa", I cannot help saying, "ting ting ting ting tara ra ra ra raram", as Chitragupta's violins do there!

One more point. Some of these great songs can be sung with proper justice only as per their actual lyrics, and not with any other lyrics, nor with 'la la la la' or 'pa pa pa pa'! The reason is that those great lyricists had written these songs, to comply with a preconceived 'metre' or taal or rhythm.

Glad to hear that Venkat ji! It pleases me greatly to learn that I am not the only self-professed singing nut around here.

I agree with you, the whole composition makes for a delightful dainty treat, especially the prelude music. Now, that's what could easily be described as a little piece of Heaven.
