the "we" can be exchanged with I depending on what's going on, I used we since it's a chorus but I believe int he film one woman is leading dressed as a man at this point so "I" can also be used...

Context-wise, It seems like they are two different songs that wouldn't
necessarily be sung together.

First would be by the girl's family
while the later by the boy's family.

Are there other songs that making fun of mother-in-laws.

You are quite right, they are two different songs.

The first being a boli. Making fun of mother-in-laws is traditional. Sas Kutni by Heera was quite popular back in the day. In fact most of the punjabi folk songs for weddings are all about making a dig at one family member or the other. These boliyan are often passed down orally and changed to suit the occassion. So this one would usually be at the girl's side functions. But it's not just the boys side that gets picked on, the girl's mother's relatives (Nanke) have a go at the girl's father relatives (Dadhke) and vice versa. It's all in good fun. I used to have a written collection of these but unfortunately they also perished in the fire that destroyed my music collection.

The second being Madhorama Pencha - that song can go on with more verses for the different kinds of brides to be a la Jis Ki Bibi (Mere Angne Mein) from Laawaris or Apni Apni Biwi from Do Raaste.

As you mentioned this would be done most likely during maiyaan at the Boy's House or if they host a Sangeet Night. These days with the couple-to-be knowing each before hand, many times there is a joint Sangeet Night at least out here in the US.
