A tough choice, as there are many fantastic albums, and lists can keep on changing, but right now here are my Top 10, these albums are among my very favourites of Burman Dada (in no particular order):
1.
Pyaasa - high quality mix of singing, lyrics, and music, Rafi, Geeta and Hemant are all wonderful.
2.
Guide - what an album, a milestone in HFM, many musical riches.
3.
Talash - I love all the songs in this film, from Lata's "Kitni akeli kitni tanha" to Lata-Rafi's "Palkon ke peeche se" to Manna's "Tere naina talash" to Asha's "Kar le pyar" to Lata-Rafi's "Aaj ko junli raat ma" and more.
4.
Tere Ghar Ke Samne - another fantastic album, all the songs are classics.
5.
Abhimaan - beautiful album, awesome Lata solos and fantastic duets, especially love "Teri bindiya re" and "Nadiya kinare".
6.
Sharmilee - all fantastic songs, my favourites are "Khilte hain gul yahan" and "Megha chhaye aadhi raat".
7.
Ziddi - very under-rated, but great album, all the songs are gems, especially "Champakali dekho" and "Pyar ka sama".
8.
Jewel Thief - Lata-Rafi's "Dil pukare are are" is imo Dada's most romantic duet ever, the rest of the songs are excellent as well including Kishore's "Yeh dil na hota" and Lata's 'Rulake gaya sapna mera".
9.
Nau Do Gyarah - great songs, "Kali ke roop mein", "Hum hain rahi pyar ke", "Aankhon mein kya ji", and "Aaja panchi akela hai" are treats.
10a)
Kala Bazar - a gem of an album, very nice songs.
10b)
Teen Devian - I couldn't leave this album out, so number 10 is in two parts

. The four Kishore songs are excellent, but the reason I included this album is just because of those two out of this world Rafi solos "Aise to na dekho" and "Kahin bekhayal hokar".
