The movie "Prema Lekhalu" also didn't work in Telugu. In fact Raj Kapoor changed the ending of the movie for Telugu thinking that it may do the trick. After tremendous success of Telugu Devdasu (Aah has some resemblance to Sharat's great masterpiece for the last 30 minutes of the movie), Shankar pursuaded Raj Kapoor to make "Aah" available in Telugu. Raj Kapoor agreed. But it still didn't work. However the songs remained eternally joyful even today.
I collected these songs myself sometime back after an exhaustive search in Andhra Pradesh. A friend who worked in the All India Radio was able to procure after an extensive search many moons back. However, these are avaialble aplenty now thanks to Forums like these.
Great work again and thanks for sharing these with music loving audience.
