At the recent Saraswati Puja get together, I heard someone sing an absolutely beautiful Ragaprodhan song that goes something like "Srabono Meghomaaya Chaayilo Gagane" (I am not 100% sure about the lyrics). The song was based in Gaud Malhar with shades of Kedar interspersed and the melodic structure had similarities to two Hindi Songs : "Garjat Barsat Bheejat Aayilo" from Barsaat ki Raat by Lataji and "Chaand Akela Jaaye Sakhi Re" from Alaap by Yesudas.

If anyone can provide more information (lyrics, info about the original recording, uploads), I'd be much obliged.

Koti koti dhanyabaad. It is a fantastic interpretation of Bhatiyaar, perhaps one of the best outside ICM, the only other one in that league might be "Poorab Se Surya Uga".

This is the first song I've heard in Jatileshwar Mukherjee's voice? Do you have any other songs that would compare in quality to this one? If you do, please do share them.

Ekhaaneyi aachhi Subir-da, ektu byastho chheelam.

I d/l-ed the first series of Akhilbandhu ghosh's songs, they were wonderful and the one that totally blew me away was the Maru Bihag - Amar Saheli Ghumaye. Do you happen to have the lyrics for the song? The audio quality was a bit compromised and I couldn't figure out the lyrics for this one. Also, just one correction from this series - Jete Jete Churi Korey is in Raag Bhairavi and not Bhairab as you mentioned.
