I would like to make this a little different than other threads.

Here we will gradually build Mukesh songs list (solos from 40s to 1959).
To maintain some randomness to song selections, I thought of running it some what similar to an antakshari. If you don't find a song for the next letter, you can always start from any new letter; but, no song will be repeated.

I request members who would like to contribute, to post their selections one song at a time with song details as shown in this first song post.
Please post one to two lines of song title. If the song contains introductory lines, please include starting few words from it. All song information will be added to the master list at the start of this thread.

Incidentally, Jagte Raho song is always been Zindagi Khaab Hai so
it starts with Z. The anthra starting with R really confuses the organization.
especially if some one u/l cd version which starts with Z.

Also, That is three k songs from me. Not looking good for letter k.

If introductory lines of a song don't occur in all versions, I will put them within brackets. Secondly, I will italicize the intro lines.

Perhaps, the file name being unusually long (over 150 chars), your system doesn't like it; or it might have some virus.
I have no way of checking for viruses.
I checked on the internet for max character limit for file name in Windows systems.
Windows appears to have a file name size limit of 255 characters (this includes full path name).
Previously, I had noticed that file names with some character such as : (colon) don't work in Windows systems.
The file plays fine in my system (not Windows). I have renamed Ajay's file and reuploading it. Please try this attachment.
If my upload works for you, the likely problem would be extremely long file name or unusual characters in the file name.

When few members finish testing both files, I will remove my upload.

Thanks for the upload and, for your personal note. This new upload is fine. I have been able to download and play the song.By the way I am one of the recalcitrant guys who do not thank people for downloading songs. I must plead laziness and also for the number of downloaded songs, if I gave thanks for each one, I will need extra time in many hours each day. These big downloads are results of one of my computer's older external drives having been infected with a virus ( which had songs recordings that I had collected over last ten plus years) and also since I have enough space on the new external hard drive I just would like to have all those songs that I have missed over the last forty years (I left India in 1967). Also anytime I think of a worthwhile song or a comment I do intend to post that.Again thanks.Harjinder

Hope, Ajay bhai takes note of the problem and makes necessary changes in his file naming pattern.

I can understand that you are unable to leave comments in every instance. But for me, if you listen and enjoy any of my uploads, that by itself I consider as appreciation.

I am keeping most of my songs as long file name so that I can utilize windows search more effectivly.
For future uploads I will keep the name of zip file short but it will contain a file with long name.

I hope windows will warn properly at the time of unzip if path is crossing MAX_PATH limit.
