Parag ji...thanks for these nice songs. Actually the film is a remake of very successful telugu film " Missamma" , and the songs, Brindavan ka krishn kanhaiah and O raat ke musafir ...are adoptations of telugu tunes.. done by S.Rajeswara Rao. Telugu film is made in 1955..

SF (lets drop ji), you are most welcome. I believe then the original Telugu movie starred Gemini Ganeshan as well, thats why the Hindi version had he as the hero.

Parag...Actually it was done in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.. in telugu version, it was NTR and Savitri...and in Tamil it was Gemini and Savitri.. Hindi came later on. I heard some where that Gemini was a last minute replacement when a big star refused the film in the last minute....
