Here is one of all-time great Hindi movie comedies. It has all three Ganguly brothers in it, Ashok, Anoop and Kishore. I am not sure how many movies they acted together. It also has beautifully bewitching Madhubala, future wife to be of Kishore, in it. It had SD at his best. To top it off there are some incredibly great lyrics by Majrooh.

The song "Haal Kaisa Hai Janab Ka" was such a regualr on Binaca Geetmala that you can tell at the end of the year, it will be No. 1. Indeed it was. Incredibly, this song continued to be No. 1 for nearly year-and-half ... Apart from this song, my own personal favorite is "EK Ladki Bheegi Bhagisi ...".

I read somewhere, the story's authenticity may be questionable, that Kishore acted as a messenger in between Madhubala and Dilip Kumar. The latter two were romantically involved. It was rumored for a long time that their marriage was imminent. Kishore was already married and had a son (Amit). But he was so captivated by Madhubala's beauty tha he agreed to be go between these two lovers. In a just year or two, the messanger actually married Madhubala.
