Mumbai: Subhash Ghai, the showman of the film industry unfolded his patriotic side as he celebrated Republic Day at his Whistling Woods Institute.

His good friend, actor Anil Kapoor, was with him, enjoying the experience.

Having his Gandhi cap on was clearly the order of the day at prestigious institute, where Subhash Ghai And Anil Kapoor marched towards the Flag to offer their salute.

When asked the obvious question – their vision of India – both actor and director proved they have definite ideas.

“India should be much richer in thoughts,” said Ghai. “We are becoming a rich economic power, but what I wish (is that) we become richer in thoughts, bigger in perspective,” he explained.

Anil Kapoor, too, felt that the country should become a leader.

“We should lead by examples and not follow it. Others should follow us and not otherwise,” he said.

“I do not know if can go into their minds – Gandhism – or not, but it can make them aware,” Ghai felt.
