Parag bhai this is the one of my wanted most songs. (Door desh ka raja ek din) from the film Veer Babruvahan (1950). but i am dishearted to see the condition of song, which is poor audio qulality.
it is humbly requested to you, Mahesh bhai and all friends if some one u/l the song in good audio condition from 78rpm version, the original noise of 78 rpm must be present in the song from start till end.

i hope that you will help me out!

Waheed bhai, we can do 3 things for this song "Door desh ka raja ek din"
1) I will check if I have a better audio quality copy of this song
2) We will request the generous members of HF to share if they have a 78 RPM version of this song
3) We can also request if some one can "re-master/clean" this song to improve the audio quality.

My obesrvations :
The second female voice seems to be of Ameerbai Karnataki (in the opening song).
There seems to be 2 male voices..one some unknown singer in the beginning and then Rafi sahab later
I did not notice voice of Binapani Mukherjee in the song...

Experts please correct/confirm !

I think the correct title of this song is "saajanaa *bin* bahure hamaare". If I'm remembering correctly HMV CD with this song (Golden Collection Shyam Sunder/Sajjad) also has the mistake (bin->din) on its cover.

This is not a version song. Its a tandem song, very much in the movie. Earlier video of this song was also posted. The co-singer is the same Shyam Kumar who sang the same song with Suraiyya ji

Incidentally, the name of the hero of the film is also Shyam, but a different person !

Its my utmost pleasure to share whatever little information/knowledge I have with me. I have read an entire article about the actor "Shyam" who played the hero in this movie. The article was written by Shirish Kanekar and was in his book "Yaadon ki Barat". This book is written in Marathi and I had a copy of this when I was in India.

The book has about 80 odd articles (mostly 1 -2 pages) about various HF personalities. The same book had a small article on Geeta ji as well with a graceful and beautiful pic of hers.

August posted this pic on the thread "Photos of Geeta ji" thread on my request. JSW did some clean-up work on it. Thanks to both of them.

Here is the pic I am talking about.
