I want to know some information about version records
that HMV released in the 50s.

1. Were they recorded by original MDs.
2. Who sang for these songs (besides Mukesh, Hemant Kumar, Asha Bhosle)
3. When did they stop releasing these version records.
4. Were they part of songs of an artist album.
5. Is there a list of these songs or albums.

6. So basically they were extra recording or
because some songs were popular, HMV had the original MD recorded more
songs later with different singer and released as version record.


7. So version record were only movie based meaning one movie per vinyl recording.
