Wow.. am so happy to see other fans of the one and only great "FAKIR" sahab... I am big fan of him... and pretty much have 70 of all his lyrics , works , articles , pictures , etc ... Woh saab fir kabhi , filhaal some of the ghazal by this gr8 poet ... which I come to my mind quickly are :-

Aadmi Aadmi ko kya dega -- JS & CS ( will use js and cs for even their solos)
Dhal gaya aftab aye saaki -- JS & CS
Dil ki Deewaron dar pe kya dekha -- JS & CS
Falsafe Ishw mein pesh aaye -- Mohd Rafi and many other singers..
Ishq mei gairaat jazabaat ki tarah - JS & CS
Kisi Rajish ko hawa do ke -- JS & CS
Patthar ke Khudaa patthar ke sanam -- JS & CS
Ye daulat bhi le lau.. shaurat bhi le lau -- JS & CS

And last but not least.. one of my all time favs... :-

Usmod se shuru kare zindagi -- JS & CS

Aur aab jaatien jaatien something from FAKIR sahab.. arz kiya hai gaur farmana :-

Ghum badey aate hai Qaatil ki nigaahon ki tarah,
Tum chuphha lau muje , ae dost , gunahoon ki tarah...
Harr taraf zist ki raahon mein kadi dhoon hain,
bas teri yaad ke saaye hain panahoon ki tarah......

waah kya khoob likha hai ... Fakir sahib

BJ saheb naya thread start karne ka kasht karen. It may be that most of the ghazals cited by you may be available on net.Par ek jagah hone ki baat hi kuch aur hai. isse specific kalakar ka bhi samman hota hai.

I would not be exaggerating if i say that some of the most popular ghazals sung by jagjit Singh and Chitra singh has been penned by Sudharshan Fakir Sheb. Why only jagjit -chitra Begam akhtar has beautifully rendered Kuch to Duniya ki Inaayaton ne dil tod diya. Some of the more popular songs penned by Fakir and listed by our own Bawara Jay in some other thread are as follows

Here is one of my favourite couplets of Fakir saheb

Labon se lab jo mil gaye, Labon se lab hi sil gaye Sawal gum jawaab gum, badee haseen raat thi!

While writing this i remembered one couplet of Bahadur Shah Zafar

AAshiq or Maashuq mein jhagda hai kya gila hai kya
Jab gaale se lag Gaye saara sila Jaata raha

How often same subject is given different treatment. Here lies the beauty of lyrics
