Music Review from Smashhits
After thrilling the audience through the small screen in the crime thriller soaps like 'Suraag' and 'Aankhen' director Gautam Adhikari has made his entry into the big screen through a suspense thriller 'Wajahh... A Reason To Kill'. With this movie the well-known production house Shree Adhikari Brothers Entertainment Ltd. enters into film production for the first time. Sri Adhikari Brothers and Lotus Films have come together to realize a long awaited dream through the production of this film. Director Gautam Adhikari has set a record by completing a Hindi film in 40 days flat. Actor Arbaaz Khan and actress Gracy Singh have got a good break through this film. Shamita Shetty will be found with Arbaaz and Gracy for the first time in this movie. Being a woman-oriented film after 'Lagaan' this would be helpful for Gracy to stabilize her foothold in the industry. This film is produced by Markand Adhikari and Anand Pandit. Anand Raaj Anand has composed music for his own lyrics. Pravin Bharadwaj has written lyrics for one track only. Vipul Music Company has released this album with SAB music.
The album starts with the track 'Yeh Zamana '. This track starts with the voice of Sunidhi Chauhan and moves at a moderate speed. Sunidhi's voice is very pleasant in this item song choreographed on Shamita Shetty. Bob has added a rap voice with Sunidhi. Anand Raaj Anand has come out well with this experiment dance number.
In the next track 'Agar Zindagi Se' the bhagra pop king Daler Mehndi has come out with an appealing voice. Another dance number choreographed on Daler provides a good platform for foot tapping for youngsters. Anand Raj Anand has written more philosophical lyrics here expressing the truth of love and life. Daler's voice is dominating and matches well with the mood of the film.
The third track of the album 'Sapna Koi' is a slow paced track by Shreya Ghoshal after two dance numbers. Shreya's voice with only guitar tune in the background makes this track more emotional. Once more Anand Raj Anand has expressed well the thoughts of a lovelorn woman. It is a kind of situational song. The last track in the side 'A' is a Karaoke mix by Anand Raj Anand. 'Teri Did Ko Kiya' is a fast paced track and more instrumental. It seems as an experimental number.
Side B starts with a romantic track ' Wada Yeh Kar Saathiya' written by Pravin Bharadwaaj. Shreya Goshal and Anand Raaj Anand have given voice to this romantic melody. This track is a slow paced track and starts with the voice of Shreya Goshal. The lyrics demand the commitment of two lovebirds for each other. Young lovebirds would like to hear this romantic track.
The following track is ' Koi Na Koi Wajah To Hogi ' in the voice of Kunal Ganjawala. It is a nice musical track in which Anand Raaj Anand gives the reason for making lovebirds in his lyrics. This is one more situational track and relates to the title of the movie though not the title track exactly.
The last track 'Teri Did Ko' is a Sufi track in the voice of Anand Raaj Anand. It is a fast paced track and more entertaining like other tracks. This may not be listened for a long time but would remain in the market for few days.
Overall, the music of Wajahh is full of entertaining tracks accompanied by rich music composition. The tracks like ' Yeh Zamana ', ' Agar Zindagi ' and ' Teri Did Ko ' would be on the lips of listeners of these songs.
