I have tried to rip songs from old Gujarati Cassette. I think the quality is good but it is not like CD quality.

My apologies to everyone who had downloaded the first two files. They were both corrupt.
I have deleted both the messages with the corrupt files.

I have been having problems with Forum Board.

I have had lot of problems trying to upload songs. This has been going on for almost a week.
Today is worst. I have uploaded two songs after a lot of struggle and I am not sure if they are okay as the size of files is smaller than what I have on my hard drive.
I tried three different computers and I have still been unable to load any more songs. I think problem is with the board and their ISP.

I will not try to load any more until I know that the problem has been solved.

Thanks for the encouraging words. Sorry about gujarati scan but I felt if I put it at the top of the thread most people will know what to expect. the file names and titles are in english so hopefully that will help.

I am trying to upload all the gujarati songs that I have in CDs and cassettes and hope to do it all over the next few months.

Devjibhai has a very comprehensive thread of gujarati songs and lot of them sorted by singers. He has recently uploaded some songs by Manna Dey. I hope you will find some songs in his collection.

I agree that more information would be useful but at the moment all the information that I have is on the cassette cover which I have scaned at the top of the thread.

I tried to search on the web for more information but have had no luck. If anyone knows of some sites on web where they might have information on Gujarati films/singers/ songs I will gladly collect it and put it up.
