So, in series of surprise gifts, this is the first one- www.shankarjaikisha n.org , a website dedicated to masters. But Note that this is just the beginning.. the site is far from complete. So far we put only very basic information based on our database- to start with. And now our real work starts, to enrich the site with complete information about SJ.
The making of site was on cards for quite a long time, but due to some reason or another, it was getting delayed always. Moreover, our moderators and senior member wanted to unevil a perfect website matching the musical standard of SJ, but on second thought, we decided to launch website in raw form and make it perfect with the help of our outstanding fans. Definitely site will be much more informative and attractive with inputs from group members rather the inputs only from few.
Website in current form is basically conversion of SJ database into web form..but now it should be much more easier to find any data related to SJ composition anytime anywhere in the world with the help of web. Our intention now is to park all the information available on SJ on this single platform. But it is possible only with the help of all of you. This is a very big project- to collect and publish everything related to SJ on world wide web and so I invite all the members to contribute in whatever way they can..by giving information, by suggestion, by correcting the mistakes and so on.
You can see many pages with "under construction" tag on site, we just want to remove this tag ASAP, so desperately need volunteers to help in compiling the information. So far Our moderators helped greatly in order to provide relevant information. . I am thankful to Dr Mehta, Shahrukh bhai and Sonu for the same, and aslo to Dr raj senani. They all are relentlessly working in keeping SJ memories alive.
Website is not tested thoroughly so far, so you may find many mistakes here and there- kindly point it out to me on my email hitesh.mehta@ gmail.com , so please help us in achieving this target.
