i am uploading all the six songs available with me of this movie. however i have given a note in my collection that this movie was banned after 10 days of its release. i do not remember from where this information was gathered can somebody confirm

Thanks for the Dil Albele pyar ka mausam from Begunah - Rajan

Romeshji,

Scene for scene this movie was a lift of the late great Danny Kaye starrer in English called "A Knock On The Wood". When "Begunah" was released it was drawing huge crowds. But the makers of the English movie went to court and won the case to stop its screenings. I am not sure if it was that many years later the movie was completely banned or not. It probably was sooner than that. This may be one reason that for many years even the songs were not that easily available.
