Thanks a million . At the risk of sounding greedy, may I request the following ghazals ? These are from the album "Tasveer", an absolute beauty by Hussain brothers. I have this album on tape (copied from a friend many years ago during my days in Bangalore) and it's deteriorating now. I would really really appreciate if you (or any other HFers) could upload these for me.

2. Kitni Palkon ki nami mang ke layi hogi

3. Seene mein samandar ke laave sa sulagta hoon

This thread has been quiet for a while, I thought it's about time to revive it. On my recent India trip, I found this mp3 CD of misc ghazals on which I found 7 ghazals by the Hussain brothers which I hadn't heard before. They're from an album called "Zindagi". Anyone interested?

All the ghazals and Nazm have been written by Roshan Wadhera "Nadaan".

I'll start with my favorite ghazal from this album:

Gham aur khushi ke beech mein, itna to faasla rahe
Rota hua bhi hans sakey, Hansta hua bhi ro sakey

Apart from Dost Hairan Na Ho, do n't you think this is very uninspiring stuff from Hussain brothers? Compared to their work on Guldasta, this is very low affair. Dono bhaaiyon kee hee ek khoobsurat ghazal hai, Zindagi Kee Raah Mein aise Makam Aane Lage.... On the similar lines, I am tempted to ask Yeh Kaise Gaane gaane lage hain woh dono?

Sorry, I don't have Kashish but would love to listen to now that you have requested it. Yaar BJ tum kahan ho aajkal?

I agree with you. Their stuff in the recent years has been very "timepass". This one certainly doesn't compare to Guldasta, or Mukhatib or Tasveer. I actually thought that "Kashish" was a relatively better album, certainly better than almost everything they've released in the past 5 years. I could only find this on tape. One of these days I'm going to have to get over my inertia and get set to digitise my cassette collection. On that note, can you tell me what equipment I need besides my PC and walkman ?
