Let me copy and paste from one of my earlier PM to someone in response to the same question:

What one needs is a 1/8" mini stereo cable since almost all the sound cards in computer have at least a line-in or aux in, or mic in port with that dimension. If one is using a walkman to record (which, I think is the best), then just connect this cable from the headphone out of walkman to the line-in or aux in of the sound card. Once that's done, rest can be read here:

I am really fan for Hussain Bro's. The Ghazal I am looking are from Guldasta Album, which I was having in collage days. then i lost the cassate, because of which i am unable to get those tracks back. Even it is not available on any of online sites.

I choice for Ghazals are - Hussain's, Gulam ali. I am 'Kansen' for classical music do have cassate collection of few of Raagas.

Pl. help me in getting those Guldasta Ghazals.

I am surprised, b'cos Guldasta is available fairly easily in India as well as USA and also the tracks can be downloaded from sites like eMusic if you have a subscription and also at HamaraCD.com.

Do you have either "Tasveer" or "Kashish" by Hussain brothers ? If so, could you upload those albums ?

I searched lot but could not find on any of sites. And then got ref. of 2-3 Guldasta ghazals on HF

Lekin Lalu-ji, prashumusic-ji download nahiin kar sakte hain na. Phir upload karke kya faayda. Isi liye to maine ab tak u/l nahiin kiya, varna mere paas to CD hai.

Its very pathetic to say that I have been trying to post some messages in this forum but havent been successfu.

I have just recently started to listen to Hussain Brothers and am finding them extra ordinary.

Especially their synchronization when singing is wonderful.

I would love to listen to some beautiful songs by them.

I am uable to understand what you mean by . I am able to see all your messages in the forum. Do you mean you're unable to upload songs ? If so, please read this thread:

it's all explained here. Briefly, file size has to be <10MB and extension has to be zip or rar, you can't directly upload mp3 or wma files.
Getting back to music, please share your thoughts about Hussain brothers. I am a big fan of them and love them for exactly the same reason you mentioned, awesome synchronization between the two brothers.

Yeh kaunsa gaana hai Hussain brothers ka, maine kabhi suna nahiin. Kaunse album se hai. Aapke paas ho to upload kijiye. Jaise hi aap download karne ke qaabil ho jaayen, main aap ke liye zaroor unki ghazalein upload karoonga (mujhe ek baar yaad dila dijiye). Filhaal, mere pasandeeda ghazalon/geeton mein se hai:

Hello everybody,
The 2 ghazals of AH/MH pair that have really touched me are
1) tu mere saath na chal
2) chal mere saath hi chal
they are so complementary to each other and quite deep too. Would like to have them on my collection forever. The real way to sing ghazals in my opinion.

The modesty and openness of these brothers was amazing. They've given a msg to HF members but never bothered about their own songs being shared on this forum in clear violation of copyrights! Let's hope the other artistes learn to be a bit noncommercial from them.
I guess we Indians in general have this sharing attitude!

Is there any new / fresh album out in market. I will be happy to have it in my collection

Most of their recent albums have been rather disappointing. Sometimes I can't believe it's the same artists who gave us treasures like Guldasta, Mukhatib, Rifaaqat, Rahnuma, Tasveer etc. I think their most recent album was Zindagi and trust me, it's not even close to their pre-2000 albums. I think the best album of theirs in recent times is Kashish, has some very melodious ghazals.
