Wow you reminded me of such a lovely qawwali....I would be really surprised , if anyone can come up with this lovely ghazal sung as qawwali by Warsi Brothers. I used to have this on Tape when back in India and since than could never find that tape or a CD of this songs.....

Yes Sir, after 40 minutes, I uploaded the song asuming that it is MARNA BHI MOHABBAT MEIN KISI KAAM NA AAYA and found that the song is actually BALIYE O BALIYE.... Yaani... MAR MAR KE DOWNLOAD KARNA BHI KISI KAAM NA AAYA !

There is some misunderstanding, the song in question has not been uploaded by Bawra ji, but by Jairaj ji. I found it was a different song, is liye to post mein bataya yahan, phir bhi aap log d/l kiya kiye!!

BJ, I can't possibly call myself a freak since self-deprecation is really not my forte, you know.
But, I love sufi music and a few months back an album with a liberal sprinkling of sufi lyrics was released, the lyrics of which were penned by Gulzar and sung by a rather unheard singer, Rekha who happens to be wife of Vishal Bhardwaj, the music director. Her singing on this album was enchanting and mesmerizingly seductive. If Sufi music beyond the realm of Abida Parveen and NFAK is to remain alive, such albums need to be published more often.

Yes that vishal bharadwaj 's album was ISHQ ISHQ ISHQ and I have that one... my fav from that CD is tere ishq mein...tere ishq mein....sung excellently by Rakha

Yeah, it was named that but with one ISHQ missing, Jay.

Until I bought that CD, my favorite like your's was Tere Ishq Mein but after listening to the whole album, my favorite was Teri Raza Meri Raza.

Oh and yes, Jairaj is not bhai, BJ. It's lady Jairaj.
