It is popularly believed that Madam Noor Jehan's date of birth is 21-09-1926 but when I went to Madam's grave at Karachi on her first death annivarsery, I saw the date of birth (alongwith her date of demise) written on her tomstone (Epitaph) that was 23-09-1929.

I do not know which date is actually correct. Unfortunatly I have lost a rarely availbe book about Noor Jehan 'Noor Jehan ki Kahani' written by Madam's first husband Shaukat Hussain Rizvi. Mujhe yaad padta hai.. there was a copy of Noor Jehan's Birth Certificate in the book.

Would anyone help me to solve this birth date mystry?
