Just wanted to share my collection of video songs from yesteryears. there is so much meaning in the songs, so chaste a language..and picturised so elegantly on those beautiful people....it is a pleasure to see them again and again...

The first one is a melody picturised on Savitri, the actress unparallel . No props of zillion dancers jumping in half dresses, or colorful locales from switzerland, yet this song delivers a pleasure which makes the heart go into raptures....

P. Susheela gaaru's sweetest voice is simply incomparable here....I love the melody of this song...I mean the smoothness of tune...excellent..

I expect some more old telugu classic hits in this thread...Such as

"Chandurini Minchu" from Rakta Sambandham

Na Hriyadamlu Nidurinche Cheli from Aradhana.. etc.

I think Aradhana also the great combination of Nageshwar Rao and Savitri Gaaru..Actually I would like to add something on this topic...

A Bengali film named "Sagarika" was picturised on Uttam Kumar and the great stylish actress of Bengal Suchitra Sen (who acted as a heroin in Bombai Ka Babu and Andhi). Obviously this is super duper hit film till now. Later the Telugu version was picturised on the basis of the same story named "Aradhana".

And one more interesting point is the Na Hriyadamlu Nidurinche Cheli song. Because this song (regarding its picturisation and tune) also taken from the original film Sagarika. In Bengali the song was "Amar Swapney Dekha Rajkanya Thaakey" by Shyamal Mitra. You can watch the video here:

Heard the song from sagarika...it is totally of the same tune as naa hrudayam lo ...from aradhana. i even saw the in the credits that it is adoptation of Sagarika...

There is a song in old Telugu film Abhimanm. The song is "Oho bastidorasani baga mustabayyindi". This is also a good song. The tune has been taken from the great Hindi film CID - "Leke Pahela Pahela Pyaar".

One more song from the film Santhi Nivasam. the song is "Raave Radha Rani Raave"...Actually the tune has been taken from "Jhumta Mausam Mast Mahina" song from Ujala sung by Manna Dey. This is also a gr8 hit of Ghantashala.
