Full Version: A New Thread For A Particular Category Of Songs
Hamara Forums > Music > Sangeet Ke Sitarey
Vishal Singh
Guess what is common in the following songs (which are different from the most hindi film songs):

01. Amar Akbar Anthony - Hamko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyar

02. Haqeeqat - Hoke Majboor Mujhe

03. Heer Raanjha - Jo Mama Mera Aa Jayega

04. Bawarchi - Bhor Aayee

Very easy,

One thing is common, MD - Madan Mohan except the first one.

But all are having one common thing i.e. sung by Four (4) singers or more:

I think everyone will find it interesting and add the songs in the thread.

The criteria will be

1. Songs should be released latest by 1989. No song from 90's or later

2. Four or more singers excluding chorus.

and offcourse maximum informations about the songs.

The first song facinates me other than the melody is that sung by The Four Gretest Legends of Our Film music, Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Mukesh & Lata Mangeshkar ; when the songs were recorded in one go not like today's song that even duets are recorded in segments and then combined.

So, think about that moment when these Legend will be standing together recording for a song..

Any body is most welcome to contribute about any interesting incident during the recording or photograph.

Here I am posting few song and hoping the thread will be continued for long .............................

Vishal ji...thanks for the nice idea. the very first song which came to my mind is...Dukh bhare din bheetere bhaiyya..ab sukh aayo re..From the film Mother India. It is a fine song which had four of legends ..Rafi, Manna Da, Shamshad begum and Asha. a very high pitched song, every one sings a stanza with their unique style of rendering...and all are in their peak !! a pleasure to hear song....
