Sri S P Balasubrahmanyam

40 years of career in multiple languages, singing for almost every music director in the field is not just an easy job, if it were not Sri S P Balasubrahmanyam. Not only singing, he proved himself equally well in acting, dubbing, anchoring etc. He has not left any job without adding the touch of perfection to it.

When one has to talk about the good songs SPB sang, the list is restricted to the usual types - Ye divilo, sivaranjani, charana kinkinulu etc and etc. But, there are few other songs where he did a very good job and my aim is to introduce all such songs.

I will post good songs from SPB including his famous songs - occasionally, I will be posting few songs from other languages also, which I know..

Here is the first one..

Fully agree, friend. I completely share your great respect for SPB.

Not only what you have mentioned. Balu is a very good analyst and a very good judge of things, people and especially co-singers, old and new!

Another beautiful song from the same movie - Chillara Devullu. Well orchestrated, and very well-performed by SPB. Using a solo violin adds beauty to the song.
