Salim Akhtar, one of the few disciplined, no-nonsense producers, has just completed his latest film Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. Shot entirely in Switzerland, the film not only has an interesting plot, but should also mark the debut of two extremely confident, camera-friendly newcomers Samir Aftab [Salim Akhtar's nephew] and Tamanna. The other strong point is newcomer Samir Aftab's confidence. The handsome lad exudes the sparkle and charm that Aamir Khan radiated in Q.S.Q.T.

Its a love story. Music is composed by Jatin Lalit.

Looks do matter, but more than that it?s the talent that does the talking and in that department too, Samir Aftab seems well prepared to meet the expectations. The 23-year-old seems a gifted actor! Chand Sa Roshan Chehra is scripted by Jalees Sherwani and directed by writer turned director Shahab Shamsi.

Chand Sa Roshan Chehra music release

Producer Salim held a get-together on 22 December at a five-star pub to release the music of Aftab Picture’s romantic film Chand Sa Roshan Chehra directed by Shahab Shamsi. Rani Mukerji, an Aftab Pictures’ discovery, formally launched the music.

Starring Samir Aftab and Tamanna, the film has music by Jatin-Lalit and lyrics by Sameer. What is remarkable about the peppy songs is that the score has only one voice for the hero (Udit Narayan) and just two female playback singers, Alka Yagnik and Sunidhi Chauhan. Present on the occasion apart from the host and the director were music director Lalit (Jatin was out of town), Sameer, Udit Narayan, writer Jalees, supporting artistes Vijayendra Ghatge, Kishore Shahane Vij, Apra Bhandari, Kurish Debu and others.
