Dear music lovers and music livers,
I'm looking for 2 songs of Lataji:
1. Yeh dil aur unki nigaahon ke saaye - prem parbat
Ouff!! what an excellent mesmerizing song it is.. Can't get Lataji's voice and the santoor and the flute and the "freshness" of this song out of my heart.
I think the music is by "Jaidev-ji"

2. kaa jaanu sajan - music , i think, is R.D.Burmans

Could anyone please upload these ones?
Many thanks in advance

There you go, MrDhaval, with your second request. Its only 16kbps though, so if someone has a better sounding version, I would be grateful for it too!

cheers,

Ankur

Here you go Dhaval and Ankur...

192kbps version of kya jaanu sajan - Lata

Yeh Dil Aur Unki - Prem Parbat - Lata

I assume that you have searched the song library and did n't find it there. If it's found there later, Dhaval, it'd be my gun and your head. wink2.gif

BTW, there is n't much you can do with a 16 kbps version of song, Dhaval. Don't waste your time. Despite that, saying thanks to Ankur for his time and effort is not a waste of time.

Anurag,
i thought itunes had this enhancement and conversion feature but definitely you know more than me. The other day when i downloaded "roll roll makonisa", i tried to convert it to 192 kbps and suppressed the noise and it worked out to be ok (better).. Pls advise.
And yes, i'm very prompt in saying thanks although the fact is, i just can't "thank enough" to this forum and the members. :-)
clap1.gif to you all !!
cheers

If you downloaded from itunes, then it must have been in their propriety format AAC and certainly at very good bit rate to begin with. Then you converted to mp3 @ 192 kbps using their encoding software and did some noise removal.

Of course, this is a perfect picture -- you began with a high quality source and probably reduced the bit rate a bit - it still gave you a CD quality mp3. I don't think any noise removal was necessary unless there was any perceptible noise in the track.

While if you start with a 16 kbps mp3 file, there is n't much in it that you can play around with to better it. Read some threads in Technology section.

BTW, you need to head to Ghazals section and clarify the songs you wanted.

Couldn't agree more with you there.
:-)
I've also posted couple of replies in the ghazals section. Thanks for pointing me there.
