Ye ek offbeat film thi bhulane layak nahin thi lekin bhula thi gayi. Dushanyat aur Kunwar Bechain dono Hindi Ghazal ke bade naam hain khaas taur se inki ghazalon ne hi mujhe ise rip karke upload karne par majboor kiya. R. S. Vikal ne theem ke taur par apni nazamen rakhi hain, jinke saath RJ ne kode ki fatkar ki ghatak aawaz ka istemal kiya hai jo mujhe Ritwik Ghatak ki filmon ki yaad dilati hai.
Dilchasp baat ye hai ki is film me RJ khud Nautanki me gaate huwe nazar aate hain.

Iske lyrics hi nahin jis kahni(Kiraye Ki Kokh-Alam Shah Khan) par ye film bani thi usne bhi Hindi ke literary halkon me bahut dino tak aag lagayi thi.

Shayad sabse jayada khushi sangeetji ko hi hoti agar unhe koi competitor mil jata(Jayada rare chizen saamne aatin), lekin afsos wo main nahin hoon. Main sabse dosti ka hi khwahan hoon.

What a lovely album, Ajay. I thought it would be one of those preachy ones but it seems to be somewhat akin to the "Roomani" album for some reason. And thank you again for not just the songs and the album but for introducing me to the works of Dushyant Kumar Tyagi. Had never read them before, they are so powerful.

(Read the lines before listening to the song and I thought that making it into a duet would spoil the punch of the lines... it does not, the female seems to take over the flame of consciousness from the man... . It made me very curious about the film. It is obviously not just about abortion. Have you seen it?)

Ye tracks maine VCD se hi rip kiye the. Zahir si baat hai ki film maine dekhi hia. Ye koi aisi film nahin hai jise main 'Mahan' film kah sakoon lekin ek director ki pahli koshish hone ke lihaaz se achchhi koshish hai.(Aur film ka jo hashr huwa iske baad R. S. Vikal ne shayad dusari koi koshish ki bhi nahin.) Ye Hindi cinema ke us silsile ki hi ek kadi hai jise 'Naya Cinema' kaha jata hai.

Film ka abortion se koi rishta nahin hai. Ye iski theme ko sunane ke baad hi saaf ho jata hai.


Kuwar Bechain ek achche ghazalgo hain lekin unme Dushyant wali aag nahin hai.


Abhi bahut saara waqt barbaad hona baaki hai...
