Anpadh is a 1962 film. The film stars Balraj Sahni, Mala Sinha, Shashi Kala and Dharmendra. The music is by Madan Mohan and the lyrics by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan. I saw this film when i was a kid on DD tv. The film is full of pathos and tears...till the very end. But what stood out in my mind even then were the gems of songs it had. Madan mohan gave the soul to this film...and Raja Mehdi ali khan..the heart. Ofcourse there is Lata at her peak to make their efforts fruitful.
If one has to pick Lata ji's ten best songs..i believe this would be there. In short that is it. the video is also very nicely done as beautiful Mala sinha tries to convey Dharmendra what it means to love and be loved !! Divine is the word.
