I am starting this thread for uploading songs which I am going to rip from the cassette sent to me so kindly by Yogesh (from Mumbai). HF can sometimes reallly play wonders for you !!

The Music is by Meena Khadikar.

Here is the first one which was MOST WANTED by me. In fact this was the song which initiated the hunt that resulted in this beautiful cassette.

Tha manufacturer is HMV ,under their SaReGaMa series.

I will certainly try and hunt for "Swapnat sajna". The MD is Vishwanath More and he has done some breathtaking orchestration involving violins and flute before the Antara of this song. And there is simply no match for Asha's velvet voice.

Guys, thanks a lot for your efforts in getting these songs to us !!!! I picked up the first number "Ye javali ghe" just now. Couldn't resist listening to it as it comes with high recommendation from Paresh bhau !!!! Well, I must say, the song really is quite amazing....
My visits to HF have become rare these days - firstly, as I'm really keeping busy at work & secondly (this is a depressing reason for me) as my external hard drive, which had most of my music collection, crashed last week !!!!
I have to start recovering whatever I can !! Wish me luck (else I'll have to trouble each one of you for uploading many of the earlier songs again )
Hope I can start joining the discussions very soon !!!

Thanks for sharing your experience, Dhananjay!! To avoid this problem, I already have taken backups three different hard drives. I update my backup time to time. You also better do that in future. And do let me know anything u want. I will immediately upload the song for you, dont u worry at allll. ok??

Oh yeah, Back-up is going to be my utmost priority henceforth !!!! By the way, it seems I'm not hurt very bad - luckily my office laptop can read the data quite well. I have already ordered another external hard drive. As long as the laptop can still recognise data from my old drive, I will try to copy it onto the new one !!! I have my fingers crossed till then ...

And for all other friends, make sure you learn from this bad experience of mine and back up all your precious collection regularly !!!

I am sure Paresh has missed 5 tracks from this album ( Haat Jodite Padar Pasarite - from Ram Ram Paavhna, music by Lata Mangeshkar & Anandghan Kshanaacha, music by Meena Khadikar.....also 3 other tracks are Lataji's commentary interpersed inbetween the 14 song tracks )

I am sorry if he has already combined Lataji's voice track with the songs.
