This album I was told by my neighbour (some 25 year back) who had seen this movie in 40's that it was a super hit in those days and I used to listen at his place the78 rapm song of Rafi Saheb -Hindustan ke ham hain.. & others whcih he had collected.

The song, 'bekhabar jaag zaraa ...' is reported (ISB) to have a second version, Sham and Rafi duet.

There is/ was no second version of 'bekhabar jaag zaraa'. It covered both sides of a 78rpm disk
but its total duration was less than 6 minutes. Full lyrics of the song were posted by me in another
forum (rmim) a few years back.

just Pehle Aap and Singer.. just Sham Kumar.
Anyway, you have a point. We have to find out that song
begining with 'mujhe din raat lagii'. I have never heard
that nor have any of my friends.

The factual position has turned out to be that the movie had no
such song ' mujhe din raat lagi' and obviously no record was issued for
it. Here is the record number which had the Bekhabar song:
Columbia Ge 3436
1. bekhabar jaag zaraa: Sham Kumar
2. hindustan ke ham hain: Rafi and chorus

Your post clears all doubts about this song.
The phrase 'mujhe din raat lagi' in the title might have been taken (for what ever reason) from the first line of 7th antara.

I chanced upon your post after zillions of hours of wading through the net unsuccessfully. However the moment of Glory was short lived. I see the post, but cannot download the song. I am particularly referring to HINDUSTAN KE HUM HAIN, HINDUSTAN HAMARA.
