The song that Tickler ji ne June 13 ko post karna chaha tha. I have some songs from 'Bhaiyya Ji' but am looking for others. So I just took a shot in the dark. I assumed it to be just one song.I do not have any other info on it and I do't really know any identifying words or lines from most of this film's songs.One that I have in so so quality is 'O ni main laikey jaana. Na main naeeon jaana nee" By Lata and Minal Vagh. I have some others but need to look them up. Harjinder

Sorry to disappoint you.I do not recollect seeing Bhaiyya ji. But I did see 'Chaman' at Jagraon in 7th grade (1954-55). At that time I was too young to know even Lata from Asha.. As for Minal Wagh, the only time I saw her name was when "Classic Movie Club' waalian ne Lata naal Bhaiyya Ji dee iss duet wich usda naa mention keeta see. Meena Kapur music director Anil Biswas dee wife see tey shayed usne kuchh Punjabi gaane wee gaaye hoan, Hindi wich tey usde kafi gaane han..Meena Mangeshkar tey Lata ji dee sister hee lagdi hai.Usde wee kaafi Hindi songs han.I think you probably know quite a bit more about these two singers than I do. Chaman wallee Meena? Keh naheen sakda. Hun tey film wee bhulee paee hai.Bhaiyya Ji tey Phumman wargeean filman taan gaane collect karn de shauk naal he zihn wich aayyeean nein. Harjinder

I just remembered another Meena ( of course not Meena Kumari). I am Thinking of Meena Shorey one time wife of Punjabi film producer Roop K. Shorey. If Mr. Shorey had produced Chaman then I would think she would have the female lead in the movie.She left him when, after partition they both went to Lahore to produce a movie. He came back to India but she stayed there. Also wasn't she the one who sings (i.e.lipsynchs) the famous song ' Lara lappa' in 'Ek Thi Ladki'? Harjinder
