Noorie, great many thanks for this extended upload of the requested song. Thus, I got a bonus over the Vividhbharati song! Like Pinky, I too like most Kishore songs of the 50's and 60's. For that matter, I like HFM of only 50's and 60's! I have no interest in 70's and beyond, mind you, not even of Rafi songs!

This morning Vividhbharati has refreshed my memory of this very nice and rare Geeta solo.

"O Aaj Mere Yeh Ishare"--Film:Jaisingh(1959)---MD:Ramesh Naidu---Geeta Dutt

Incidentally, this is one of the few Hindi songs copied from Telugu Originals. In this case, the Telugu Original is "O Konda Meeda Kokirayi" from Film:Jaya Simha--MD:T.V.Raju

Could someone kindly upload the Hindi song mentioned above?

The movie has been dubbed in Hindi with the same cast : NTR, Anjali & Waheeda. We cannot say that the song has been 'copied'. Such movies normally retain the same tunes as those of the original ones. A few re-make movies some times have the same tunes for a couple of songs : eg: 'Miss Mary', 'Main Bhi Ladki Hoon' etc.

SF, happy that I could establish dialogue with you on this.

That Aalaap should be most probably only in the first half. Take it from me, it comes within a few minutes after that Guesthouse sequence in which Sharmila pours a bucket of water on Shammi Kapoor.

But, do ensure that you capture about a minute before that Aalaap and a minute after that Aalaaap, so that we have those excelllent typical OPN instrumental bits.

Venkat Ji...i followed the film frame by frame..of the first half.. and didnt find that aalaap...I am getting doubt that it might be edited in the cd i have....Okay, i will reach the bottom of this, tomorrow i can get it from other source...let's see...
