Again an interesting situation since all records say Lataji.

I fully agree with Hits, Talaikya-ji, Vikas-ji, I feel its 100% Ashaji's voice and not Lataji.
A very soft song, excellently rendered by Ashaj in seventies, when she was at her best.

There is absolutely no question about it. This song is by Asha.
Every inflection in the voice, every note is indubitably hers.

Heavens!!!! This IS Asha--can anyone doubt it? U just have to hear the first tere to know it. The voice and style--ASHA all the way--I think it is only their early songs where there is a bit of room for confusion. How can anyone mistake Asha's 70's voice? Nothing more lovely in the world (ooops I am in the wrong forum bhool gayi )
BTW not all sources say it is Lata. The VN book says it is Asha.

He he he this is not a Lata - Asha duel--this is an Unni-Priya one--am sure Asha would tolerate having me as an avatar but would Lataji like being masculine or simian? For that matter Lataji did once express a wish to be male so that she could sing for Dilip Kumar!!! (but sure she never envisaged that in unni's voice )
