I have an old audio cassette that shows this song to be from ' Lachhi' sung by Rafi and S. Balbir.Title of the song is 'Dil lai gia koi rab ji, dil lai gia koi saade naal tey duniyawaleo anhonee jey hoi'. The cassette in question was purchased from an Indian store in Chicago suburbs, While the information and the song are authentic, the source of these songs probably was someone's private collection.Harjinder

Harjinderji you are right the song is from the movie Lachhi (1949).
