Asha Bhonsle and Himesh Reshammiya seems to have buried the hatchet and are friends now. Asha Bhonsle will be singing to Himesh’s tunes for his film Aap Ka Suroor. The song is title ‘Mehbooba’. Incidentally, R D Burman had composed the hit song ‘Mehbooba Mehbooba’ for Sholay.

Himesh had angered Ashaji by retaliating to criticism of his singing style by saying that nobody accused Panchamda or Mukeshji for their nasal singing. Ashaji was angered to the extent of publicly claiming to slap Himesh. But the issue got settled amicably when Himesh sought apologies from Asha Bhonsle for his comments.

Himesh has got Asha in his new movie album - Aap ka suroor The movie.

Apparently he has added the remixed version songs of many other singers including Asha's and a special Tribute to Pancham with Mehbooba number.
