yay Reeth iam watching it ...as far as comments go both big B and srk r 2 diff individuals and they have their own diff styles .....so we just cant compare them

srk is the superstar of the new generation and younger peepz can relate to him ...he has brought a youthful energy to the show ... has made the game more fun....and he is simply gr8 ....and i have grown up watching his movies so naturally i will be biased towards him

SRK is getting better. He started off with a big hangover of AB's style, but is evolving quickly.

I think he is doing ok (not that I have seriously watched the show). He seemed nervous initially--I did not like the first few shows. But today watched a bit and thought he has improved a lot. The thing is we keep comparing him to AB. If he follows his style then we call him a poor copy and if he does something different we call it a poor gimmick!!!! The chappie is in a no win situation.
Well KBC or no KBC I do like Shah Rukh.

By and far he is apparently not a very likaeable person , that cocky arrogance and facade of humility comes thr' in his performances as well....

No. He was never there. In fact I stepped in after there was a big issue. Wonder if you followed the story then. The structure was listed in the Heritage Structures of India. Meaning you can not change the way it looks. You can re-construct, but the end result must look like it has always looked.
Someone else, who was there earlier carried out large scale changes. The wooden staircase that goes to the first floor (refer movies like Mr. India, Tezaab) was replaced with a helicoidal R.C.C. staircase. Some extra windows were opened up. Even the front facade was to be changed.
Bandra residents raised such a stink that the architect was de-licensed and SRK had to appease a lot of ruffled feathers.
Mrs. Khan was in charge. And yes, the high life comes with an arrogance that is rather stinky. Not something I'd like to write about here. Connections are flaunted big.
(My experience with Suneil Shetty was exactly opposite )

Suneil invited us to his house for a biz-meeting. The door opens into a dining -cum - living. The entire family was at the end of their meal as we stepped in. He insisted we have food with them. Simple food. (I had this whole idea that these fellows eat stuff the way they show in the movies. But here, his meal was no different than the one I have in my house).
The family too was extremely down to earth. No airs at all. Sunil was in striped pyjamas for this biz-meet
His comments too were of a worldly-wise person. Even other topics we chatted about, he could be the guy one meets anywhere.
When I asked him how he was so much in touch with reality, he was very disarming. "I was a businessman for donkey's years before I joined films." he said.
Truly grounded in reality.
(The project didn't take off over some money matters.)

I have met him at a friend's house in mangalore and manipal a couple of times, he runs a botique and a hotel at mangalore, and is supposedly very good to his staff and generally liked by evryone.....but unfortunately he is a bad actor, no denying that

kbc3 is good fun for now......his presence of mind....when one cant obviously work out of a script (that he is so infamous for rehearsing umpteen times)...holds him in good stead.
