Hello,
Shankar-Jaikishan released an album called "Raga Jazz Style" in 1968 which contained 11 ragas during the time when all the film musicians were on strike. In this album Sitar was played by Ustad Rais Khan and the other instruments like Saxophone, Drums, etc. were, if I am not mistaken, played by artists from AIR.
I have an audio CD of this album which I purchased from HamaraCD. However I left it behind in my home in Mumbai. I got the MP3s of this album from a person named Prakaash who is a member of another forum called OurHFM. He wishes that many more SJ fans should have the privilege to have these MP3s. Hence with his permission I am uploading these MP3s on HF. Here are the first 4 ragas: Todi, Bhairav, Malkauns & Kalavati...

skg ji.
One trivia. Do you know the Raag Jaaz style was the first "Stereo" record(LP) in India.
It was Electronically Processed.
After that the next one was Lax/Pyare's "Jal bin machchali nritya bin bijli"..
