Between Jaane Kahan Mera Jigar Gaya Ji, Ham Aapki Aankhon Mein and Sun Sun Sun Sun Jaalima .. I am not able to make up Voted for Ham Aapki Aankhon Mein coz this song reminds me of my younger days.

this has to be my favourite of Geeta duet, with sir Mohd Rafi,. i love this song for its simplicity and truthfulness

"tumhi ne dard diya hai, tumhi dawa dena"

i dont know the film, Parag Jee would you do the Honours of providing the film name for me plz

i will be recording an album of Geeta And Rafi Sahab Cancelled songs soon, now, i dont have the sleeve anymore to determine what films the songs are from, but they are all filmi songs which were taken out or not filmed for a number of reasons, this is where i feel it will be difficult to know what films they were from as they were "cancelled" , unless somebody can come up with a list of geeta cancelled/unreleased songs. this is where i will be needing ur help big time sir!

From the list I like songs from CID, Devdas and Bawre Nain but my favorite woud be " Tume se he meri zindagi" with Mukeshji from Apna Ghar. I think music by Ravi.

Dharmaan.These are basically/actually cancelled records and not cancelled songs.
Their earliest versions were released on 78 rpms and later on better versions on LP records.
With the release of re-issued better versions on LP records, the music companies
sold the earlier versions as cancelled records. You will find a lot of noise on those recordings.

My Most Favorite Duet Of Geetaji .. Hum aap ki aakhon mein .. its so melodius and when you listened to it.. it's seems like you are dancing along with the song in those era!! .. Like a BallRoom dancing!!

I am also going with 'hum aapki aankhom mein'....There is some magic in that song sure which makes it unique.

It is a very difficult choice , all are best duets.

Mostly have choosen... Hum Aaqpki Ankhon Mein. No doubt, it is a big hit but credit goes to Sahir for the beautiful lyrics, I mean, even after heart throbing maiden voices of Rafi & Geeta, lyrics is heavier than singing, in this case.

I have selected Rim Zhim Ke Taraane Leke Aayee Basaat.
This song has real-touch of Rafi & Geeta.

BTW everyone has own test.

Hi everyone - I'm new here. This is a wonderful forum thanks to all of you. Anyway, my favourite duet has to be "Yahan Hum Wahan Tum" with Mohd. Rafi. It is very sweet and melodious the way Geeta Ji's voice glides through the tune. But actually, there are so many wonderful songs, it really is a difficult decision.

My favourite is ...Khayalon mein kisi ki..Bhawre Nain...
The at once playful and seductive voice of Geeta Ji is absolutely mesmerizing in this song. So much Oomph..in this song, none can replicate this timeless beauty. Tough choice..

The absolutely best duet of Geeta Dutt is with Talat Mahmood. It is from the film Dr. Z. Music is by Manohar. The words are:

Hum Ne Tumhare Pyar Mein Dil Ka Chaman Luta Diya.

Also her duet with Hemant Kumar in Detective is outstanding compared to all those mentioned by you.
