Firstly let me say "Welcome to the forum Bash"
I kind of liked Shabbir Kumar songs of the 80's.....there are many favourites of mine sung by him.....alot of ways Shabbir Kumar songs carry that MOHD RAFI touch........some people would say Anwar is the closest match to Rafi followed by Shabbir Kumar and Mohd Aziz......even Debasish Dasgupta if given the chance late 80's early 90's could have got his recognition too....other clones from that era suchas Vipin Sachdeva's...his voice i felt was a little too light.......going back to Shabbir Kumar my first experience of his voice was from films like "Ek Jaan Hai Hum" & "Betaab"......so much Rafi style.

Heres an unreleased Shabbir Sahabs Version "Kaha ja raha tha" from the movie Qatl.It was dubbed by Kishoreda,but i like Shabbir Sahabs version alot.

I also have a sad version of "Saari duniya ka bojh" From the movie Coolie, which is also unreleased.According to the script Amitabh bachhan dies in the end.
