Singer Abhijeet’s troubled marriage!

After Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Babul Supriyo, it’s the turn of Abhijeet to join the bandwagon. Alike them his marriage is in rocks too and he is managing a troubled relationship at this moment. His marriage with wife Sumati for 16 years is going through a distressing phase. Owing to tensions at home he is no more staying with his family and have been living alone in his new house in Andheri since the last two months. His two sons, wife and mother stay together.
When asked his wife Sumati puts in, “You could call this a 'break' meant to sort out misunderstandings. We have not separated formally yet. Although I don't consider this as a formal end to our marriage, I think living separately will help us to sort out things and give us more time. It's just some difference of opinions that have snowballed into this situation. No, it isn't another woman that has led to this. I think other women are part of every celebrity's life and Abhijeet is no exception. It's a professional hazard that I have been managing all these years. Right now, we communicate only because of our children. I feel mentally connected to Abhijeet and want to convey to him that he should take his time and that we can probably work it out together.”
Abhijeet however denies the claims and says that he is put up in the new house, which he has bought only because he is working on a new project. He needed a separate place to conduct meetings and receive visitors. “I stay at both houses. I am very much a family man. Problems occur in everybody's married life but I don't think that's something to worry about,” he says.
