sadly... hemlata was really only used in b-grade films & mainly only by ravindra jain.
sulkshana pandit was the elder sister of vijeyta pandit & also the elder sister of music directors jatin-lalit.
she was madly in love with hari bhai (sanjeev kuamar) for many years- but he never married her.
as regards to ur point that they cud hav ruled the 80s....
i think thats absolute rubbish & only ur affection, sentiments towards them (which is understandable.)- sorry
thats my opinion.
YES - hemlata had a beautiful voice but was never versatile enuf & sulkshana was too busy managing
films & trying to balance her love life at the same time.
the fact remains with LATA & ASHA around it was next to IMPOSSIBLE for any female singer to succeed. (
ask suman kalyanpur)
just like there WASNT any chance for any male playback singer to succeed with the GREATS 'RAFI'
& 'KISHORE' around.
& dnt forget other upcoming female singers eg.
ANURADHA PAUDWAL & KAVITA KRISHNAMURTY - had enormous support by L-P while....
ALKA YAGNIK & SADHANA SARGAM had great support by KALYANJI-ANANDJI.
those are the facts im afraid brother.

this song is Good enough to shut mouth of Bhappi critics. What a compositon. Just notice the piano work in song. excellent. Those who have heard song "Main sehra baandh kar ayunga" from Dewwana mujh sa nehi can notice small similarties in interludes/tune.
I think Every MD knew what sort of songs suited Anwar. just see the songs given by RD and bhappi .
After Rafi saab s death . every one knew that he is the one who can fill the void created by death of rafi saab. He was welcomed with open arms by HF industry. But he didnt had good luck
I had read a interview of Anwar in my schoool time. If my memory is correct he gave reasons for his downfall in that interview.Acc to him When RAj kapoor approched him for Prem rog, he demanded v high rates .Due to which RK dumped him and instead used a new comer(sort of) Suresh wadekar.Once RK refused to work with him all leading directors and MDs refused to work with him. And thus this lead to entrance of another singer Shabbir kumar. and rest all know.
( can any one confirm this incident???)

Previously I thought this was 1989, I had recorded it from a double apple cassette, however I have now purchased the T-series cassette (was recording it right now) and the year says 1986. If someone can please clarify this, then I will upload this beauty here, or pm to those who need it, depending on the year.

Also, I just remembered, a friend who had been looking at this thread before the hack had told me to look for Shapath 1984 (Bappi Lahiri) for the missing song - I am going to assume he was talking about Shahrukh's request, however I don't have this album, I might have had this song on a mixed tape in the past. Hope that helps you find it though. If someone can verify that the song belongs to this album that would be great.

Regards to your query the film Jaan-E-Waafa featuring song Chaand Se Phool Talak, I can confirm that the film was released in 1986 as I have the origional T-Series Audio Cassette.

Anwar Fan Bhai, try to record in different playback format system like PAL of NTSC etc and then check it on computer. It may solve the problem.
