SIDDIQUI Bhai thank you, had it not been for this thread created by you, I probably would not have joined HF and consequently missed out on you guys (respected brothers and sisters). It is just amazing how we have got this far; things can only get better now that brother Shabbir Kumar786 (Bash.) has joined us. He is a fascinating guy and I have nothing but respect and admiration for him.

I have to say though; I am enjoying having a little bit of harmless banter with him on Sangeet Ke Sitarey (title Shabbir, Mohd.aziz or Anwar) It is something we barmy people in UK are accustomed to "Sussing each other" and also because I think he is a BRUMMIE .

BEWARE HE IS A DIE HARD SHABBIR KUMAR FAN!

I had uploaded the entire album of Jaan-e-Wafa in the Khaiyyam forum some time back, not sure if you were a member then, anyways the entire album is not to be missed, I'll try and re-upload it soon. I'm pretty sure I shared Parbat Ke Us Paar as well to anyone who pm-ed me as it was post 1988 but after the new rules I guess that is irrelevant, so I shall upload those 2 beautiful Khaiyyam albums in his forum, soon.

I was immensely enjoying a few recent digital acquisitions - among them Adaonse Hamari Na Bachpaoge from Dulha Bikta Hai (which I had not heard before since it was not on my 3 way combo cd), and one of my favorite filmi qawwalis from Katilon Ke Kaatil - Main Woh Chanda Nahin. The last one, hearing for the first time in digital quality - I was even more impressed with Anwar's Rafi-like adaa's especially near the end of the song. Will share them soon, need to convert to mp3.

Aasman Se Ooncha is a top soundtrack by Rajesh Roshan. The songs were very popular at the time of release.
