I have an audio-tape copy of a CD entitled "MANY MOODS" featuring the following lesser-known songs of Mukesh-ji. If any of these tracks are of interest to you, I would be delighted to upload them.

BHOOLNEY WAALEY YAAD NA AA

Dear Mr. Unni,

Many thanks to you and Mohd. ! You both seem to be certainly having stock of the Mukeshji's rare songs, ready to downpour with the arrival of rainy season !

From your latest list, please upload the following ones, as these are not yet been uploaded.

01 Aye Mere Jaan-E-Wafa (Neeli Ankhen 1962)

04 Chanda Ke Des Mein (Mere Ghar Mere Bachey)

08 Duniya Mujhko (24 Ghante)

09 Ek Tum Nahin To (Mera Ghar Mere Bachche (1960)

26 Too Nahin Aur Sahi (Too Nahin Aur Sahi)

27 Yeh Jawani Yeh Haseen Raat (Khoobsoorat Dhoka 1959)

Do you also have the following songs? Although some of these may have got uploaded earlier in one of the groups, the sound quality was rather very poor and irrepairable, perhaps due to lacking proper source for recording.

Sata Le Aye Jahan - Sasural.

Nayan Bina Meri (Amrut Manthan)

Mukesh & Lata - Armaan Bhara Dil tut gaya - Wafa

Title song of Hum Matwale Naujawan by Rafi- Mukesh

With best wishes !

Anil-ji:

I see that "SASURAL" (Music: S-J) had three songs featuring Mukesh-ji:

Jana Tumhare
Apni Ulfat Pe (with Lata-ji)
Sata Le Aye Jahan

Here's "Sata Le Aye Jahan".

Mukeshion:

Duniya Mujhko (24 Ghante)

Also the following song which, due to the typo in my original post, was not numbered and listed alphabetically. But you might already have this number, so please check to avoid duplication:

Mujhe mil gayi hai (First Love)

(ALL TRACKS HAVE BEEN CONVERTED FROM AUDIO-TAPE TO mp3PRO/96 kbps AND ZIPPED IN WIN-RAR)

How can this be a rare number? As we use the lines in everyday language, we remember this song.

And here's the last one of this series. I believe I have, in a modest way, repaid Mukesh-ji for all the melodic hours he provided me over the decades.

Dear Mr Unni

I think all the songs listed by you have been already made available.

However you may upload the following songs as these may be of better sound quality with you.

06 Ek jhooti si tasalli (Shisham)

10 Jap jap jap jap jap re (Sharada)

13 Lut gaya din raat (Lekh)

Taking trouble to list all the available songs is certainly a good gesture and a right step on your part...

I think others also could list and upload all possible rare songs they may be having. I think there does not seem to be any parallel anywhere anytime before to the act of making so many songs of Mukeshji available on the net in a short time. We should also inform many more Mukesh lovers of this wonderful forum and grroups.

I hope all of us know that Late Kevin Krishnan Iyer's (1986-2003) dream was to build the collection of all the songs by Mukeshji. His father Mr Hari Iyer no doubt will achieve this to the great extent with the joint effort of all of us. He has already taken a lead and he has to probably organize and list the rare songs available. Now we are few, but we have to do systematic effort to get the remaining songs from right sources besides this forum and Yahoo groups.

Best wishes !

Anil-ji:

These tracks will be converted from audio-tapes with mono recordings (just as my previous UL's were). They will be of the same quality as the previous ones.

Please let me know if you would still be interested in them, before I convert them.

Thanks --- Unni

Dear Unni,

As long as there is no distortion in the basic sound quality, you can go ahead with these uploads..

Most of your files are NOT mono
but appear to be in sterio with only one of the 2 channels recorded. We can edit and make them joint sterio, else they can be heard only on one speaker. Check your settings when recording.

Thanks

Anil-ji:

Here's the U/L of the 3 songs. I have converted them in mp3/192kbps for maximum quality. If you have any problems in downloading, please let me know. I have retained the converted WAV files on my hard-drive, and can easily send them again as mp3PRO/96 kbps.

Do let me know how these turned out. Just trying to help.
