This is me recording a Ragamala based on Kafi Thaat ragas and Raga Misra Bhairavi on a Bengali stringed instrument called the esraj.

Esraj is a stringed instrument with four main strings and twelve tarabs or sympathetic strings.

Here is a a picture of the esraj.



The Kafi one has a drum called khol and the Misra Bhairavi has the tabla for accompaniment.
