Does he say "mongu anmolo"? What's that mean?? Anmol jewels kinds? What's mongu??

I think the word is Mongho...expensive, anamolo - invaluable

Also I think it's Anadharyo (unexpected) not Andharyo (dark, blind).

"Pand" means body, doesn't it? (same as Pind).

Basically the song is about the Pankhido which is the metaphor for the soul or life. In that context the stanza means -

Umatyo ajampo ene, pand na re pran no
- The soul is restless with this life and the body

Anadharyo karyo manorath, door na prayan no
- Suddenly it decided to leave this world and go far away

Anadeethe desh jaava, lagan ene laage
- Wishes to go to the land unseen

Junoo to thayu re is another beautiful bhajan where the soul is compared to a swan (hans) and the body as temple!!!

I have these two Cds Narsinh & Meera - ek jhankhi and I absolutely adore the Devotional Songs/ Padas, Morning Hyms, Raas-garbas on them. They've been produced by a Parikh family - I think in someone's memory, though I can't be sure about that. When my Dad passed away I derived a lot of comfort from these two Cds amongst others. When Mom visited, she'd listen to them regularly, they bring me good memories. Made my day listening to them too today.

T ji can you list other Narsinh-Meera bhajans on the cd ... whenever at your convinence.

T - Ji , Can I request " Mhari Hundi Sweekaro Mahraj Re Shyamla Girdhari" and
" Sukh Dukh Man Ma Na Aaniye Ghat Saathe Re Ghadiya". The later one used to be " kavita"
in my seccond or third grade , I don't remeber which year. I know it was a long time back
and i never realised it was Narsinh Mehta's.

Acutally the rest of Narsihn Mehat bhajans sounds very interesting and hard to come by.

Here are the two (both are tagged and we have the lists, so I am not repeating the information here), glad to remind you of your bachpan Jaag ne jadwa is my special memory, Mom would sing it while at her Pooja and if we had a particularly hard time getting up, she'd tickle us and sing it... Once when she was singing, my brother proclaimed sleepily - leave him alone, I'll go! (loosely translated of course)

My parents had called him to Uganda ( East Africa) a long time ago before my birth - I am now 46 yrs old.

TKji-my gujarati is not all that fantastic, I will try my best.
the two lines that you have written, after listening to the bhajan, I think ( I might be wrong a bit).
The bhajan says that Bhakti ( prayers etc.) on this earth is very important.
The poet Narshiha Mehta says
that after a lot of punyas -good deeds, we have got this human form (after 84 lakhs life forms)
and he considers this earthly abode as heaven.
Devotees of Krishna do not ask for Moksha( release form birth cycle)
But ask to be born again and again to sing His praises, and devote their lives to Him only and to see Him.
( I guess the meaning is that we should not forget God as the human form is achieved after 84lakhs life forms and so we should consider our stay here as if in heaven)
