Thanks Subir for the link to the Manna Dey interview (in Bengali) ...almost 25 minutes...interviewed on Deutsche Welle over the telephone to Bangalore......that was nice indeed ! His wife spoke well (in English - she's from Kerala )...and quite obviously adores him and his singing...and also mentioned that he was madly in love with her too !! He, on his part, was quite tactful ..and neatly evaded the question on what he thought about current day singers !!
