Oh My God!! They copied the tune of old superhit Pakistani song "Hum hain deewaney teray, aashiq puraney teray, hum sai nazar to milao" by Mala and chorus. Oh no!!

I dont think it is Jhankar, most 80s and 90s punjabi Pak film songs are like that with lots of beats and odd music. Looks like music directors in this period were playing every instrument they could get hold of in their songs !

Priya, I have 'Chutki te le le ...' on audio tape and love this tune (I think the song is based on Asha Ji’s evergreen number ‘Ye ladka hye Allah kesa hai deewana’. Am I right
?). I also have it in Jhankar and unable to understand the words of the first line of the song. Ummer can you guess what she is exactly saying?

Priya, thanks for ‘Sohneya pyar tera…’ I was looking for this song since many years infect I heared this song first time when I was travelling in a coach I forgot the lyrics lekin dhun yaad thi mujhe. Beautiful tune na? And very well sung by Madam. Kaash original sound track mil sake.

As for as ‘Wajja tere ishqe da …’ is concerned, “Some” people love “such” kind of songs , but it's not my cup of tea.

I dont know about that. Only visited Karachi Beach once and that too from the trip from Islamabad to Kuwait. But I have heard that modern savagery has taken its toll on Karachi Beach . It is very polluted. Gwadar (Balochistan) coastline is relatively unspoilt because the population density in Pakistan's largest state (by Area) is only 1-10 per mile

I have found the following sad story on net:

A dirty beach

Karachi's Clifton beach has been termed one of the dirtiest in the world by a leading tourism website. This indictment has been made keeping aside last year's Tasman Spirit oil spill.

The writer of the website who visited Karachi some time back described the beach as being littered with rubbish, being without any life guard on duty, and giving off a foul smell. Visiting the place was said to be generally an unpleasant experience as parts of it gave the impression of being a bazaar.

This should come as no surprise. While a lot of work has been done to develop Seaview, the rest of the beach has been left to its own fate. On one stretch of the beach front a colony of sorts has started to emerge where shanty huts have been erected and camels and other animals are seen grazing.

In other parts, makeshift charpoys are brought out at night for people to have chicken karahi from one of the several eating places that have sprung up. The beach front is also used as a dumping ground for construction rubbish from nearby sites.

Lined with buildings with the paint peeling off and the iron work rusting and a beach strewn with garbage, Karachi's seafront is hardly the stuff of picture postcards.
