I was listnening to this recently and just couldn't help but share it with the group. Such a melodious number. I don't know the language so not sure about the pronunciations or meaning of lyrics but I feel Ashaji has sung it extremely well. Of course RD's music is the sone-pe-suhaga smile1.gif

Aall the taqraar ki baatein in other threads, I though kuchh pyaar ki baatein ho jaaye. What say? smile1.gif So thought of posting this song because my guess is that this is a romantic number. Although with my luck and since I don't know the language, even if it is not, listen to it as a romantic number, k? smile1.gif

Enjoy.

This song is from a 1989 Telugu film called "Chinni krishnuDu". It is not from "Antham".
Do you happen to have the other songs from this film?

Thanks for the correction! I have two other songs from Antham, so I guess it can't be from that movie, ya? The lyrics are something like O maina and Enthasepaina.

Pranav, U have not heard the Hindi version of jeevitam sapta sagara geetham?
pranavjh

Priya
No no, Pranav, I asked U incase U want to hear it!!!! laugh.gif
pranavjh
Oh... doh.gif ok...got it.

I just uploaded the Telugu version thinking people may have heard the hindi version but Telugu version sounds a bit better at least to me because one, listening to Asha ji singing in a different language and two, SPB definitely adds a much better charm in that version.

I too like the Telugu version more though I cannot understand it. I believe there are versions in other languages too. sad1.gif

Now that I wasn't aware of - versions in other languages. Do you have more info? If it's Bengali, I might have it.
Priya
I forget. Inushi had uled the Telugu version a few months back and there was some discussion. Dunno if there is a Tamil version or Marathi--all confused. Maybe Nimz remembers.

BTW Inushi hai kahan aaj kal?
shaibaal
There is a Bangla version - "Bondhua Rimijhimi Eyi Sraboney" - identical track

pranavjh
Thanks for the info shaibaal. Indeed, I just heard that song. Sounds very nice in Bangla too!! Interesting twin tracks recording in the stanza with Asha's voice (where SPB would have sung in the Telugu version).
